Browning Patent was in 1915 And that was basically the Remington Model 17 with a few changes. Model 17 was only available in 20 gauge.

I tend to shy away from M37s made from 1979 - 1981 the QC was really suffering then. By the mid 80s the QC was a lot better. The value aspect would be around the 250 to 400 dollar range. There are a couple of other things that would change this. If it is a supreme then the value would be more say closer to 700 dollars.
